Its presence is not always easy to detect and if your building was built before the year 2000 its very likely that some parts of the building will contain asbestos. The material can be found in a range of structures and finishes such as cement based products, textured coatings, floor and ceiling tiles, textiles and composites, and in insulation and lagging systems.
